Verified Pre-Owned Homes (VPO HOMES) is a comprehensive product that helps sellers increase the sales price of their home while reducing risk for them and the homebuyer. VPO Homes will coordinate the pre-listing full home inspection by a local verified home inspection company noting the ages and conditions of the homes’ systems. A list of required repairs will be provided. The seller makes the repairs (VPO can also assist coordinating with this) and VPO Homes will coordinate the re-inspection of the home ensuring all appropriate repairs are made. VPO Homes will issue your verification documents and will establish your 5 year warranty product to transfer to the buyer of your home.

Yes! If you have not had a recent inspection (last 90 days), the process is the same as above. If you have had a recent inspection from a local verified home inspection company within the last 90 days, the inspection company can issue you a list of required repairs and can enroll you into the program once the re-inspection takes place. Your 5 year warranty will begin at enrollment. Alternatively, you can opt to skip the repairs and reinspection by having any deficiencies listed in the report omitted from the warranty.

By offering the buyer peace of mind and confidence in the home, you will lower sales resistance and increase the number of ready willing and able buyers for your home. Buyers will feel more comfortable pushing their budgets knowing they do not need to save for costly repairs. Buyers will be more likely to pay a higher price for your home and waive contingencies. This will increase the odds of a successful contract and reduce the time and headache of selling your home. It also reduces your liability should anything go wrong with the home post settlement.
